Pallet Truck Assembly Guide

Why are Pallet Trucks Shipped in a Disassembled State?

Pallet trucks are the most useful tools for transporting and handling loads in various environments, especially in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, retail stores, logistics centers, and many other areas where heavy or bulky items need to be moved. Typically, when you place an order, you receive a pre-assembled pallet truck. However, there are many suppliers who ship them disassembled. One significant factor for disassembling them is space efficiency: By disassembling the components of the pallet truck, they can be packaged in a space-saving manner. This not only reduces the size or volume of the shipment but also reduces shipping costs and allows more pallet trucks to be transported on a truck or in a container. Additionally, disassembly enables the safe packaging of individual components of the pallet truck. Another advantage is that disassembled shipping makes it easier to customize the pallet truck to meet individual requirements. For example, for different fork types or additional accessories to tailor the pallet truck to your specific needs. The greatest benefit is that most suppliers offer significantly lower prices when shipping disassembled pallet trucks in bulk, typically in a crate or a bulk packaging.

Note: Do not remove the locking pin yet

Step 4

Guide the handle between the axle guide on the hydraulic unit of the pallet jack and insert the bolt with the center hole to the front.

Step 5

If necessary, gently tap the bolt in until it reaches the stop. Make sure the handle is straight, and the bolt doesn't damage the axle guide.

Step 7

Thread the drain chain through the center hole of the axle.

Step 8

Press the hydraulic drain valve upwards using a screwdriver and insert the drain chain into the guide with the help of pliers.

Step 9

Take the loose cotter pin provided and insert it into the bolt.

Step 10

Now, use a hammer to drive it in. To prevent damage to the cast housing, we recommend using a drift punch.
