Thanks to its wide-spaced, stable chassis, the BASIC workshop crane, in combination with its swivel casters, can be moved precisely over the load to be lifted. To ensure the best possible load distribution at the center of gravity and to adjust the lifting range, the boom is moved to one of three possible positions. By operating the pump lever, the boom can be raised to the required height for picking up the load; the freely rotating load hook enables the load to be picked up and significantly simplifies its positioning for the operator. Until the load is engaged, the boom lifts using the rapid lift function; during the subsequent lifting of the load, the double-acting hydraulic unit operates in normal lift mode. Once the load has been moved to the desired location, the integrated control wheel is used to finely control the lowering process. When the mobile workshop crane is not in use, it can be folded up for space-saving storage.
